The academic year 2011 has been another milestone year of IMI, another confirmation of our commitment and dedication to the demands of our customer groups. Our new programmes on “Creating a Winning Branch for Branch Managers of Indian Banking Sector” and “AMP: Towards the Next Orbit: Indian Banking Sector” for top management level executives have attracted many banks to organize in-house training programmes for their senior executives. These programmes have been designed to offer participants a thorough understanding of the relevant models and dynamics of the Indian Banking Sector. During 2011-12 IMI conducted a series of in-company training programmes for Indian Overseas Bank, Allahabad Bank, Punjab & Sind Bank and Dena Bank, and a host of others.

IMI has conducted a number of programmes for top management level professionals
(Executive Director / Board Members) of Indian organisations. To name a few for whom we have done such programmes: NTPC, BHEL, etc.

We have also conducted in-company programmes on General Management topics for various public and private sector organizations like; Engineers India Limited, Hindustan Zinc Limited, Indian Oil Corporation, Indian Farmers Fertilizer Cooperative Limited, Power Grid Corporation Limited etc.

IMI conducts specially customised Executive Development Programmes for middle and senior level managers of different organizations. Such programmes involve extensive study of the client organization, preparation of specific teaching materials and cases towards the development of a customized course design to suit the needs of each organization. We would be happy to customise programmes for more organisations that desire issue-focused and outcome-centric programmes.

IMI specializes in executive education, even the first two long duration diploma programmes were meant exclusively for practicing managers. Nearly two third of IMI faculty have industry and/or international exposure. While the main thrust of continuing education programmes of IMI is in-company programmes, we also conduct open programmes as presented in the list for 2012-13.
