Profile:

Prof. Panigrahi is currently working as Assistant Professor, Operations Management at IMI, Bhubaneswar. Prior to this, she worked as Assistant Professor, Operations Management at Institute of Public Enterprise, (IPE) Hyderabad under the aegis of Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), MHRD, Government of India. She was the Convenor of Institute Innovation Cell (IIC), MHRD at IPE (2018-19). Her Ph.D. is in the field of Sustainable Supply Chain Management from Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar (XIMB), Odisha. Citing a gist of her recent and commendable achievements: She bagged the Best Paper Award in the WIPRO-XUB, Sustainability Summit held at Xavier University, Bhubaneswar (August, 2016). She was also selected for the MSME Fellowship by National Institute of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, (NIMSME), Hyderabad, under the Ministry of MSME, Government of India (2016-17). She won the Emerald Literati Award for Highly Commendable Paper by Emerald Publishing House, Bingley, UK (August, 2019). and consecutively for another paper in 2020.

To her honour, she has five international publications and a international book chapter with reputed journals by leading publishing houses like Emerald Insight and Inderscience Publishers. She has presented several research papers in international conferences held at leading institutes like Teri School of Advance Studies, New Delhi, IIT, Mandi, IIM, Sambalpur and XUB etc. Her research works have been selected for presentation at POMS Annual Conference, (2019) organised by University of Sussex, Brighton with Kingston University and Judge Business School, University of Cambridge and also in MESH conference (2018) organised by Dept. of Industrial and Systems Engineering, IIT, Kharagpur. She was also invited to deliver the concluding remarks at the 3rd Public Policy Governance held by National Administrative College, (NASC). Kathmandu, Nepal. Her academic background has been in engineering studies. She holds a degree as Master of Technology in Production Engineering for the Batch of 2013-15 from one of the premiere engineering institutes i.e., Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT), Burla (formerly known as UCE, Burla). She has been adjudged as the University Best Post Graduate in Dept. of Production Engineering during her M.Tech and was awarded the Silver Medal by the Vice Chancellor of the University. She has also received the Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme (TEQIP) Scholarship (2013-15) awarded by Government of India (implemented as a World Bank assisted project to improve the quality of technical education system in the country). She completed her Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Rourkela, Odisha.
