Introduction

Decision making has become complex in today’s VUCA world. Organizations are focusing on data modelling to leverage information and gain insights to drive the business. Analysing meaningful data is also critical for policymaking. Statistical modelling, data analytics and data science techniques help in decision making and formulation of business strategies. This program will enable participants to explore and analyse their own methods and practices systematically and utilize modelling techniques effectively in their various work/research endeavours with primary and secondary data. The program will sensitize participants to build the models for addressing various business problems.

About The Program

Post Graduate Certificate in Data Science and Business Analytics is divided in 4 modules and 1 capstone project. Candidates can pursue each module separately. Upon completion of each module and refreshers exercises, the candidate will be entitled to a module specific certificate. Upon completion of all four modules successfully, the candidate can opt for a capstone project. Upon successful submission and evaluation of the capstone project report, the candidate will be entitled to receive Post Graduate Certificate in Data Science and Business Analytics.

It is envisaged that after attending this program, participants would be able to: Understand the concepts of business data analytics, and its ecosystem for gaining customer insights. Consider firm’s capability to analyse and use customer data for gaining customer insights and to develop and maintain a competitive advantage. Gain understanding of various techniques for analytics: Descriptive, diagnostic, predictive and visualization techniques. Understand how companies generate insights from data through case studies in finance, operations, marketing and human resources. Learn about the challenges faced by leadership in visioning and executing Data – Centric projects for ROI.

Who Should Attend?

Participants should have a bachelor’s degree in engineering/science/commerce/arts, with mathematics as one of the core subjects. Fees

Fees for each Indian Participant
Module A: Rs. 15,000/- INR including GST.
Module B: Rs. 15,000/- INR including GST.
Module C: Rs. 15,000/- INR including GST.
Module D: Rs. 15,000/- INR including GST.
Post Graduate Certification: Rs. 5,000/- INR including GST. [only if a candidate has successfully completed all four modules] If a candidate successfully completes one module, the candidate will be entitled to receive 10% discount on the next module. Candidates can choose to start with any module.

Duration & Coverage

This program is a weekend only Online program. Total duration of the program is 10 months.
Each module will be of 9 weeks. Any candidate can opt to attend any of the modules to receive a module specific certificate. Once a candidate completes any of the module, he/she will be eligible to receive 10% discount on the next module. Candidates can choose to opt for any module at a time. There is no serial order for module selection. To qualify for a Post Graduate Certificate in The candidates who will complete all four modules, will have an option to opt for capstone project. A institute faculty member will be assigned as their Project Supervisor. The candidates will have 1 month of time to complete and submit the project. To qualify for a Post Graduate Certificate in Data Science and Business Analytics, the candidates has to complete all four modules and a capstone project.

Coverage (with session counts)
The course will cover mix of both managerial and technical content to enable managers or executives of any business discipline to make sense of business data and to take data-driven decisions. Each session will be of 1 hour.
