IMI Bhubaneswar and SAP Next-Gen organized events to support the UN Sustainable Development Goals

IMI Bhubaneswar in collaboration with SAP Next-Gen India, organized a series of SAP Next-Gen hackathons,  #sheinnovates and Design Thinking events for over 100 students at its campus in Bhubaneswar. Students used the SAP Analytics Cloud tool for solving real business challenges of Industry partner Infosys to envision the future of industries and to build digital innovation skills. Post the hackathon, students would work on projects on SAP Leonardo to enable Innovations in Smart City, Usage of Machine Learning in Electricity Grid Optimization and Data Analytics in Medical Science for the city of Bhubaneswar
On this occasion, Prof. Ramesh Behl, Director, IMI Bhubaneswar along with Ms. Bobby Patnaik, Manager – Employee Relations, Infosys and Mr Rahul Sachdev Head, SAP Next-Gen University India Subcontinent inaugurated the SAP Next-Gen Lab and the SAP Next-Gen Girl Lounge, which is the first in India. Ms. Patnaik also addressed the female students under #sheinnovates meet-up event organized by SAP Next-Gen at IMI Bhubaneswar, as a part of their commitment to the 17 UN Global Goals of Gender Equality. #sheinnovates stands for connecting, educating, empowering and celebrating women in innovation, technology and entrepreneurship.
