Profile

Dr. Rajesh Katiyar is an Associate Professor in the area of Operations Management & Quantitative Techniques at International Management Institute (IMI), Bhubaneswar. He has completed his Ph.D. in Management from IIT Roorkee, M.Tech. from DAVV Indore and M.Sc. from Christ Church College, Kanpur. Before joining IMI, he was with IMS Unison University, Dehradun for more than two and half years. He has also worked as a Junior Project Assistant on a Research Project at the Department of Industrial & Systems Engineering, IIT Kharagpur for two years. Dr. Katiyar has more than four and half years of teaching and research experience. His areas of research interest are supply chain management, performance measurement, sustainable supply chain and buyer-supplier relationships. He has published several research papers in international journals like International Journal of Production Economics (Elsevier); Benchmarking: An International Journal (Emerald), Global Business Review (Sage), Journal of Modelling in Management (Emerald), International Journal of Intercultural Information Management (Inderscience) and Industrial Engineering Journal (IIIE) etc. Dr. Katiyar has received the best paper award for his excellence work in a Singapore conference. He has also won Highly Commended Award for Emerald/IAM Indian Management Research Fund Award-2012. He got full time MHRD fellowship during his PhD program. Dr. Katiyar is a member of various professional bodies like, Life Associate Member of Indian Institution of Industrial Engineering and reviewers of the several international journals of Elsevier, Emerald, Taylor & Francis, and Inderscience. He is also an Associate Editor of Pragyaan: Journal of Management.
