P. C. Mehra has been with IMI since April 05, 2004.   P. C. Mehra, has over three decades experience, spaning over 2 decades in Industry, in the area of Marketing, where he held senior positions in the corporate sector and over a decade in academics. He also spent 3 years in an overseas assignment in the general management area in East Africa. His keen involvement in training, during his Corporate years, led him into offering in-company training programs and marketing consultancy in the early 90’s. He entered academics in 1994 and was associated with leading Business Schools in the national capital region as visiting faculty. His area of academic interest is Sales & Distribution Management; Retail Marketing; Sales Promotion Management and Strategic Marketing.He also offers training programs in the area of sales and marketing for the corporate sector, besides engaging in consultancy in general management and marketing.

In August ''''07 he attended a Workshop on Retail Marketing conducted by senior faculty from The William & Mary Mason School of Business, USA for leading Retail Chain as a trainer. Based on the experience he has since developed and offered Retail Marketing modules for the chain''''s middle level excutives, across business verticals, during late ''''07 and more are under offer during ''''08.

He has also developed and offered marketing modules for a leading two wheeler manufacturer to provide marketing orientation to its front level sales & service personnel, across the country, during 07-08.

As a part of his consulting experience he was associated with an Export House and guided them in the launch of a new brand of Soft Toys in the domestic market to complement their export offerings in the same category.

He has also been associated with leading Indian brands such as Boost, 7UP, Cadbury''''s, Gems, Frooti, Gillette shaving systems in developing and successfully executing various innovative sales promotions.

In July ''''07 he attended a Retail Workshop conducted by faculty from William & Mary Mason School of Business, USA for a large retail group. Based on that he has developed and offered training modules for the groups'''' middle level excecutives across business verticals during late ''''07 and more are under offer during ''''08.

Similarly he has also developed and offered a Marketing module for a two wheeler manufacturer with a view to provide the front level sales & service personnel across the country with marketing orientation.

In keeping with his interest in Retail, he attended a Conferences on RFID in Singapore in April 06 and the Retail Summit in Feb 06 in New Delhi. In December 07 he also attended a Conference on Logistics & Supply Chain conducted by FICCI.
