Deeksha Gupta is an Assistant Professor at IMI Bhubaneswar and holds a Ph.D. in Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ranchi.Her doctoral research explores and conceptualizes a novel process-based performance measurement indicator for entrepreneurial ecosystems. Unlike conventional output- and outcome-based metrics, this indicator captures real-time ecosystem performance. The research also develops and validates a measurement scale to operationalize this indicator,enabling more accurate assessment and actionable insights for researchers, practitioners, and policymakers.
Her teaching interests include Strategic Management, Competitive Strategy, ESG, and Entrepreneurship. Her research interests span entrepreneurial ecosystems, global extreme events, business models, and case studies. In her previous organization, she was a core team member in the institutional accreditation process. She has mentored MBA final-year students as a Placement Mentor, supporting them in placement readiness and career development, and has designed and delivered bootcamp sessions on guesstimates and consulting frameworks for MBA final-year students.
