74TH REPUBLIC DAY

On January 26, 2023, IMI Bhubaneswar celebrated the 74th Republic Day of India. On January 26, 1950, India officially became a republic nation after the Constitution of India was signed. This day holds great significance for every Indian and is celebrated each year with pride. The celebration began with the hoisting of the Indian National Flag by Prof. Ramesh Behl, Director of IMI Bhubaneswar.

In his address to the students, he emphasized the importance of small actions in making the country proud and stressed the need to protect and preserve the environment. He also encouraged everyone to work together for a common cause and urged the participants to plant a tree as a symbol of their commitment. The unfurling ceremony was followed by the parade of the students towards the MDP block. The celebration concluded with a tree plantation drive. As India celebrated its 74th Republic Day in 2023, the students at IMI Bhubaneswar reaffirmed their pledge to make India a better place to live.
