Dr. Pritish Kumar Sahu is an Associate Professor in the area of Economics and Finance at IMI Bhubaneswar. He holds PhD (& M.Phil) in Economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi and M.A in Economics from Hyderabad Central University. Dr. Sahu has over 13 years of post-PhD experiences in teaching, research, consulting and in policy making spheres with iinternational organisations and academic institutions of global repute. He has worked with United Nations (UN) Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), Indian Institute of foreign Trade (CWS), Delhi University and Multimedia University (Malaysia) during this period. Dr. Sahu has published in international/national journals (Indexed in WoS, SCOPUS, ABS, ABDC, UGC-CARE etc.) and cited widely in journals papers and policy reports including the Economic Survey, Govt. of India. Prof. Sahu has written Research book, book chapters, working papers, and contributed to Nobel Laureate Paul Krugman’s global edition textbooks on International Economics, international Finance and Trade. He has also written several columns on contemporary economic issues in popular newspapers (Indian Express, Bangkok Post, The Hindu, Business Line, Jakarta Post, Times of India, Moneycontrol, New Strait Times, Odia Regional Newspaper etc.). in addition, Dr. Sahu has also worked as an independent consultant to the Commonwealth Secretariat in framing the trade policy and export strategy for several countries viz. Sri Lanka, Grenada, Indonesia, Nigeria, Papua New Guyana, ECOWAS Countries. He has supervised students, worked as a PI in few projects, chaired sessions in conferences, trained many professionals, received few awards & recognitions and associated with few journals in different capacities.
