Profile:

Dr. Sourabh Sharma is a Professor in the field of “Information Management and Analytics” at International Management Institute (IMI), Bhubaneshwar. He is also heading the Dean (Business Development) position. He is an eminent Management Consultant, outstanding Professional Practitioner, Trainer, Academician and Educationist Counselor in Management, has been associated with Management Education and Industrial practitioner for over a decade now. He has expertise in the areas of Enterprise Resource Planning, Business Analytics, Digital Marketing, Management Information System, Database Management System, SAP, E-Business and Web and Social Media Analytics. He has also given his consultancy to Union Bank, Ujjain to convert their pension management software from Foxpro to Visual Basic. He started his career with Reliance Communications as a database consultant and served there for four years. Since last 17 years he is in management consultancy and teaching.

Dr. Sourabh Sharma did M.B.A. from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore and completed his Ph.D. from the Institute of Commerce and Management, Jiwaji University, Gwalior. He is a Trained SAP consultant for Sales and Distribution (SD) Module and Certified “Digital Marketing” Trainer.

He has published more than 50 research papers into different peer reviewed journal of good repute. Dr. Sharma had visited Chengdu, China and represented IMI Bhubaneswar in an International conference organized by Sichuan Academy of Social Sciences (SASS), Chengdu, China in 2017. He has also represented IMI Bhubaneswar in an international conference organized by B&ESI at Vienna, Austria in 2019. He is also guiding Ph.D. to two research scholars in the area of Management. One of the scholar has already awarded Doctoral degree in Management under his able supervision.

Dr. Sharma is the member in the editorial board of the “International Journal of Leisure and Tourism Marketing, Inderscience Publication”. Dr. Sharma is also associated with more than 10 renowned peer reviewed journals of Emerald, SAGE, Inderscience and Redfame Publishing, USA. Dr. Sharma has also organized many Research Methodology workshops for faculties and research scholars. He has also chaired many International conferences into different universities and management institutes. . He is a life time member in editorial board of many national and international academic bodies. He is also the member in the editorial board of the “International Journal of Leisure and Tourism Marketing”, INDERSCIENCE Publication. He has been holding several administrative positions since last one and a half decade. Dr. Sharma has also organized 8 International conferences at IMI Bhubaneswar in association with EGADE Business School, Mexico City, Mexico.
