Pritish Kumar  Sahu

Dr. Pritish Kumar Sahu is an Associate Professor in the area of Economics and Finance at IMI Bhubaneswar. He holds PhD (& M.Phil) in Economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi and M.A in Economics from Hyderabad Central University (Univ. of Hyderabad). Dr. Sahu has over 12 years of post-PhD experiences in teaching, research and policy making areas with international organisations and academic institutions. He has worked with United Nations (UN) Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), Indian Institute of foreign Trade (CWS), Delhi University and Multimedia University (Malaysia) during this period. Dr. Sahu has published in international/national journals (Indexed in SCI, Scopus, ABDC etc.) book chapters, books, working papers and contributed to Nobel Laureate Paul Krugman’s three global edition textbooks. He has also written several columns on contemporary economic issues in popular newspapers (Indian Express, Bangkok Post, The Hindu, Business Line, Jakarta Post, Times of India, Moneycontrol, New Strait Times, Odia Regional Newspaper etc.). in addition, Dr. Sahu has also worked as a team member under commonwealth secretariat for the trade policy framework of several countries Viz. Sri Lanka, Grenada, Nigeria, Papua New Guyana and ECOWAS Countries. His works are cited in several journals and policy reports including Economic Survey (Govt. of India), supervised M.Phil/PhD students and received few awards & recognition for his scholarly contributions.
