My first week at IMI was with new faces and unfamiliar environment. It was an exciting and daunting prospect in equal measure. Orientation Week, also known as Welcome Week was the bridge to this new phase of life, designed to help make the transition into a B-School as enjoyable and rewarding as possible. During the week there were many challenges with ice-breaking activities, talent hunt & many fun games.
 

The campus is an aesthetic campus with sculptures and greenery all around. In the hostel I got a chance to interact with students from across India. They were from different background and many came with prior work experience. The orientation week programme schedule for 7 days which started with an inspiring speech of our director sir. There were introductory classes to make us familiarise with the management course. The faculty were introduced to us subsequently. All the faculty were interactive and highly experienced at their profession. The orientation also gave us an opportunity to interact with prominent corporate leaders from across India.

Everything I learned from the orientation will remain with me forever. By the experience and look of things I believe, I have made the right decision in choosing IMI Bhubaneswar.
