GRIT! THE JOURNEY TO PERSEVERANCE



In a transformative leadership talk that left an indelible mark on our students, Basem Abu Dagga, the distinguished Co-founder of ReimaginED Collective, Aster Global Partners, and The Learning Curve Holdings LTD, as well as the Executive Director of Tharaa Capital, shared profound insights and visionary perspectives.

IMI Bhubaneswar is delighted to organize a Leadership Talk on 30th October 2023, from 3:30 p.m. onwards. The leadership talk was held to draw students to how to become successful leaders and entrepreneurs. Motivate them, with enthusiasm eager to gain wisdom from Dagga's remarkable journey and multifaceted roles.
The leadership talk revolves around the topic which includes – GRIT, what is GRIT & and why GRIT, and for a successful startup and to be a successful entrepreneur perseverance is the key point. Briefly, GRIT is defined as passion and perseverance towards long-term goals, it’s not something you are born with, you don’t learn it in the classroom, you don’t inherit it.
GRIT earns it by experiencing and doing difficult things, sticking with them even when you want to quit, and pushing through to the experience in personal growth. GRIT is simply mental, physical, and emotional resilience. Why GRIT –Researchers show that GRIT is one of the single largest qualities that determine whether someone will achieve success.
 For this perseverance key point, maintain a steady course of action, despite setbacks or challenges. “Tenacity” is also another factor which is the quality of being persistent and determined, even in the face of diversity. He also explained to us what the challenges are, and how to solve them. We need to have the determination to create something with unique ideas. Being a successful startup, we must have this “What is your no.1 motivation?”
Our students are greatly motivated by the leadership talk, this session ended with questions and answers, related to how a student embraces where the world wants quick success.
