Leadership Talk by Mr. Prasanna Das

Mr. Prasanna Das is currently the HRBP of TAFE - Tractors and Farm Equipment Limited. The student placement committee(SPC) of IMI Bhubaneswar had organised this leadership talk. He started by outlining his path from his early years to his eventual selection to one of India's top premium B-schools. He gave the students some guidance on how to make plans for the next seven to eight years and develop career goals. He discussed diversification and how it helps one develop their unique style in order to become a leader. He discussed his experiences on how the pandemic was affecting employment and offered advice on crisis management. He encouraged the students that while academics is crucial at this point, they need also to concentrate on developing new skills in order to thrive in this competitive market. He concluded the session with his valuable words “I always prefer to be a mentor because a mentor creates so many leaders".
