After exploring many B-schools options, I finally ended up choosing IMI, Bhubaneswar. It is a decision which will bring a 360 degree change in my life.

The journey began on 10th June, 2015. On a bright sunny day, I arrived at the campus accompanied by my father. My heart was filled with mixed emotions. I was happy to start a new journey, sad to leave my family for the next 2 years. But at same time I was excited too, in anticipation of a new life. When I entered the campus I was stunned by the beauty of the campus. It's a brand new, fully residential, lush green campus. The view was mesmerizing which encouraged me to explore the campus further. The environment inside is vibrant and lively.

The first week was dedicated to orientation. On the first day itself I made very good friends. We were sharing our feelings, expectations, clicking pictures. Within no time, we built up strong bonds and now it appears as if we are friends since ages. I found a new home away from home and a loving extended family.

Orientation week brought in many pleasant surprises. We went through several activities including ice-breaking sessions which helped us to get the feeling of harmony and mutual understanding. An interesting programme - Talent hunt was organised wherein everyone performed in the process showcased some unique aspect of their personality. In a short span of next two days almost everyone knew each other fairly well.

The classes commenced in the subsequent week. It is indeed a pleasure being coached and mentored by such highly educated and experienced faculty members. I am just loving the unique teaching methodology to impart knowledge. All classes are practical, away from traditional way of teaching we have been used to in the past.

I feel blessed to have received this opportunity to study at IMI, Bhubaneswar. The campus environment is highly conducive for learning. It offers a unique blend of recreation and fitness opportunities too in addition to the academic rigor. The journey has been good so far. With each passing day, I feel more motivated and enthusiastic.

This is just a beginning of a beautiful experience. I look forward to add more memories to my life which will be cherished forever.
