We take pride in taking the readers through the memory lane of 'IMIB Concord Corporate Talk Series'. Through this discussion series, IMI-B students were given the opportunity to interact with industry professionals and IMI-B alumni on a shared platform in order to gain insight into the present business climate in Covid19 and reorganize working procedures and conditions in accordance with changing demands.

IMIB Concord 1.0: The IMIB Concord Corporate Talk Series' inaugural event, IMIB Concord 1.O live session, was held on June 20, 2020. It concentrated on the FMCG and FMCD industries (fast-moving consumer durables). Distinguished speakers at the event included Mr. Rajan Verma (GM Marketing, JK Laxmi Cement), Mr. Abhijeet Rastogi (Head Trade Marketing, Consumer Products, Bajaj Electricals), Mr. Dhiraj Kunder (Alumni, Consumer Insights, Assistant Manager, Unilever Group), and Prof. Manit Mishra (Faculty, Associate Professor, Marketing IMI-Bhubaneswar).

IMIB Concord 2.0: "Evolution of Analytics as an Industry and the Current Market Scenario" was the topic of the presentation. Deliberated by leaders in the field like Ms. Ruchi Saxena (General Manager, Sentiss Pharma), Mr. Parijat Mondal (Vice President, Adani Group Limited), Mr. Abhinav Johari (Director & Practise Head- Digital Advisory EY), Mr. Kumud Sharma (Global Analytics Manager, Lenovo), and Mr. Shivaji Alaparthi (Senior Data Scientist, Century Link). Analytical data was the main topic of this event.

IMIB Concord 3.O: The topic of the discussion was "Banking in Present Crisis," and four distinguished speakers were invited: Mr. Anoop Sharma (Chief Manager, IDFC First Bank Limited), Shri SK Sharma (Faculty, NIBSCOM), Shri Pranab Biswas (Zonal Head, UCO Bank), and Dr. Akhilesh Tripathy (AGM, SBI).

IMIB Concord 4.O: "Strategy of India Inc. During and Post Covid19" was the subject of the webinar. The panellists were Mr. Adarsh Katyal, president and chief executive officer of Varite INC., Mr. Sandeep Tayagi, director of human resources at Samsung, Ms. Sunanda Rao, managing editor of Career Beacon, Mr. Hemant Sethia, former vice president of human resources at Credit Suisse, and Mr. Debashish Chakraborty, CEO of the London Strategy and Consulting group.

IMIB Concord 5.O: The speakers for this talk were Ms. Sowmya Sarathy (Senior HR business partner Amazon), Mr. Thomas Govathoti (Senior Vice President Indusland Bank), and Ms. Flavia Rodrigues (Talent and Development Advisor- Asia, AkzoNobel). The talk's theme was "Being job ready in the current scenario."
