LEADERSHIP TALK- SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT IN THE CURRENT SCENARIO

On 21^st Oct 2020 IMI-B arranged a leadership talk with Mr. Aniruddha Banerjee who is an eminent personality, currently working with Spencer's Retail. He deliberated upon supply chain management in the current world scenario and the skills required to face the changes in it. He compared the supply chain in the pre-pandemicwith that during the pandemic peak and how local brands are dealing with it.


He enlightened students on the process of supply chain management along with the problems faced and how to manage the supply chain disruption through control and optimization, and managing the demand. He also discussed about the changes that would be required post- pandemic with regards to establishing, buying patterns, trends, and shift-based work plans.
