Corporate Talk: SPORJO

On 11^th September IMI Bhubaneswar had the opportunity to invite Kanika Sethi - the head of business development at SPORJO as a speaker for the ongoing corporate talk. With an aim to understand the sports ecosystem in India, this webinar was conducted on careers in sports industry with SPORJO.

SPORJO has set out to create an ecosystem of half a million professionals helping the growth of sports industry. The agenda of the webinar was to understand the sports ecosystem of India, understanding the business of sports and the employment opportunity it creates, different job verticals and roles it creates, segregation of professional and amateur opportunities to name a few. They also mentioned that 230+ companies are engaged in broadcasting, clubs, federations, data analytics.

The guest talk was well received by the students. The passion of pursuing a role in sports and be the change is quite promising.
