The “Digital Era” has arrived. From the odometer of automobiles to BP check machines, from digital classrooms in schools to digital India as a whole, everything is being painted digital. Marketing too has shifted its gears and gave rise to the concept of digital marketing. With increasing accessibility of internet across the country, the potential of digital marketing is growing strength to strength. Gone are the days where companies purely rely on advertising in print media or television to promote their products. Though digital marketing cannot be considered as a complete substitute to the traditional marketing practices, the low cost nature of digital marketing is proving to be an effective tool to cater the needs of the customers.
