Alumni Back to Campus




The Alumni Relations Committee of IMI Bhubaneswar has been successful in making the Alumni Back to Campus Program which was organized from 1 st December to 4 th December to connect the students with the esteemed alumni network. The five alumni who visited the campus are from the batch of 2013-15 and they are Asif Anwar, Prateek Jena, Sadanand Ray, Sandeep Viswanadha, and Paresh Mokashi. Asif Anwar is currently working in Morgan Stanley as the director of Trade Surveillance, Prateek Jena is in Navi, Sadanand Ray is the B2B Sales head in Namma Swadeshi Ventures Pvt. Ltd. (NSV), Sandeep Viswanadha is in Pepsico as a marketing manager and Paresh Mokashi is working in JPMorgan Chase & Co. as an assistant vice president. On the 2 nd of December, a batch meet was organized where they threw some light on what the world of a postgraduate management student looks like after passing out. They have discussed the different career choices that we can make, various industry trends, the importance of soft skill development, and most importantly how to make the most of the PGDM journey. Apart from these, they have also talked about their career transitions and hardships. Technology was also a big part of the discussion as to how to keep oneself updated with the continuously changing technologies and AI tools. Lastly, they talked about the importance of people management and adaptability in the organization. It was a wholesome experience because the alumni who are already shining in their careers showed us the direction and what more we can ask for.
