BBN YATRA

On 13^th February 2024, the Bharat Blockchain Yatra was held at IMI Bhubaneswar in association with Information Data Systems (IDS). It was the first time this event was held in Odisha and this event had prominent speakers like Mr. V Aravind, Mr. Punit Agarwal, and Mr. Lingraj Mahanand.

The event was inaugurated with the lamp lighting ceremony by the esteemed speakers, Prof. Ramesh Behl the director of IMI Bhubaneswar, and Prof. Aritra Pan the Area Chairperson of Information and Management Applications at IMI Bhubaneswar. It was followed by the director’s speech where Prof. Behl emphasized the importance of Blockchain in today’s world and Prof. Pan’s speech which gave a roadmap of the Bharat Blockchain Network (BBN) Chapter of IMI Bhubaneswar.

With the introduction of the speakers, Mr. Aravind, the Global Vice President of IDS, delivered an engaging talk about the BBN Yatra and IDS. He successfully inculcated the interest to learn more about blockchain within the minds of the students. Mr. Punit Agarwal, founder and CEO of KoinX, gave an enlightening talk on cryptocurrency and blockchains. The final speaker of the day, Mr. Lingraj, CEO of Credore, delved into the use of blockchain for online payments. The talks were followed by Q&A sessions where the students actively participated.
