Diwali Celebration 2017 @IMIB

On 19^th Diwali, the festival of lights and happiness was celebrated by the students at IMI with a lot of enthusiasm. Amidst the heavy rainfall and away from their homes the IMI family celebrated Diwali with all their heart. The mahurat for the pooja was at 7:30 pm, the students gathered in the reception area by 7:00 pm and made the preparations for the pooja. The aarti of Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Ganesha started at 7:30pm. The pooja was done by the students, after that diyaas and candles were lit in the reception and mess area. After that we had Diwali special dinner and burst a few crackers, as it was raining heavily not many crackers could be burst.

But the Diwali here was different as we were at a home away from home and it was totally different experience for all the students.
