INTERACTION WITH VEDANTA EXECUTIVES

PGDM students of IMI-Bhubaneswar had a unique experience of interacting with the executives of Vedanta Alumina who had come to IMI Bhubaneswar for a 5-day experiential learning program.

The executives had an experience of 5 to 20+ years. It was a complete interactive session of the part time students from Vedanta with the regular students. As the freshers and those who are soon going to be placed had lot of anxious queries regarding the corporate world, they asked it to the Vedanta executives who were happy to answer. Students also learned quite a bit about Vedanta. Vedanta group is one of the largest producers of aluminum. Apart of aluminum they also produce lead, copper, zinc as by products. The group is spread across the world having its plants in India, Australia, South Africa, and Sri Lanka. As a part of its CSR activities, it has worked a lot for the development of people of Jharsugda.

The 5 days programme also gave an opportunity to these executives who enjoyed the campus life immensely as it reminded them of their college days.
