MAHASHIVRATRI

The fourteenth day of every month or the day before the new moon is known as Shivratri. Among all the twelve Shivratris, Mahashivratri that occurs in the month of February-March has got the most spiritual significance. On this night, the energy level can reach the maximum if one meditates the whole night.

Mahashivratri is often worshipped as Shiva’s wedding anniversary whereas ambitious people see it as the day when Shiva conquered all his enemies. But on a broader perspective Mahashivratri is not a religious celebration but a day on which a person can explore himself. On the day of Mahashivratri if you are conscious enough and allow Shiva to enter you, you can have a new vision and attain clarity towards life.
