MUTUAL FUND EXPERT SPEAK SESSION

Mutual Funds are always considered risky and many people fear betting in this businesses. But IMI chose to eliminate this fear from its students by educating them about the subject. On 14th October 2020, IMI invited Mr. Naveen Shivare, Branch Manager of HDFC Asset Management Co. Ltd. for a Guest Lecture on Mutual Fund Expert Speak Session to enlighten the students about“Why Mutual Fund”.

"Mutual Funds are subject to market risk but little do they know that it is one of the most untapped resources". And the expert, Mr. Shivare, went on explaining what is a mutual fund, why mutual fund, which mutual fund to choose and so on. With increased interaction between the students and the panel, the discussion went on how to invest, where to invest, the impact of Covid on this industry, and scope and career prospects in this industry.
