On November 28, 2019, the IMI Bhubaneswar, in collaboration with Egade Business School, Mexico, hosted its 5th conference centred around the theme of "Global Business Environment." The conference focused on Entrepreneurship, resource planning, and regional development. Distinguished scholars worldwide participated, sharing their insights and ideas on fostering a conducive environment for successful businesses and startups.

Dr Rajagopal, a renowned professor of marketing at EGADE and a visiting professor in the Department of Administrative Sciences at Boston University, delivered a noteworthy speech during the conference. He emphasized the crucial role of innovation in business and highlighted how products rooted in diverse ethnic backgrounds can carve out their niche in the market. Dr Rajagopal underscored the significance of innovation and stressed the need for adequate capitalization to support and nurture innovative endeavours.
