My name is Debajyoti Roy and my summer internship with Dabur allowed me to immerse myself in the dynamic world of one of India's biggest consumer products corporations. The experience was insightful and transformative, giving me a comprehensive understanding of sales and marketing strategies and essential skills and knowledge. The company provided comprehensive training sessions, mentorship opportunities, and regular feedback, allowing us to obtain hands-on experience and contribute significantly to real-world projects. I had the opportunity of working directly with experienced mentors who provided direction, and encouragement, and entrusted me with challenging responsibilities, all of which helped significantly to my professional growth. Dabur assigned me a variety of tasks, ranging from market research and analysis to developing marketing strategies for new products. Being involved in these projects allowed me to understand the intricacies of brand management, market segmentation, and consumer behaviour, and to witness first-hand how these elements impact business outcomes. My internship at Dabur provided an excellent opportunity for professional and personal development. It pushed me to think critically, adapt to changing circumstances, and improve my communication and interpersonal abilities. The hands-on learning, collaborative work atmosphere, exposure to industry best practices, and personal growth possibilities made it a genuinely transformative journey.
