SIP EXPERIENCE – CADILA PHARMACEUTICALS

Learning is a never-ending journey. We are constantly learning new things from

the moment we are born until we die. It is an unavoidable element of our lives. Our sense of perspective broadens and influences the way we see the entire world as we observe new things and experience them in our life.  A summer internship is one of the most important aspects of an MBA/PGDMProgramme as it is the stepping-stone towards industry. During this time, students get their first experience of corporate life. This period shapes their career path once they graduate with an MBA/PGDM degree.

 My name is Avishek Bhattacharya and I’m interning at Cadila Pharmaceuticals in their agro division, Cadagro which mainly deals in high quality bio-products like bio-fertilisers, bio-pesticides, plant & organic growth promoters, crop nutrients, spray additives & many more. As a marketing intern, my responsibilities include making digital posters & creatives for launching new products & actively promoting the existing brands. Moreover, during the course of my internship, I was required to do a competitor analysis of how our competitor’s products are faring in the market recently & were required to identify various offline & online promotional campaigns made by them. Overall, it was a very enriching experience as I got to know various facets of marketing concepts and it also enabled me to implement my knowledge gained during classroom lectures in my workplace.

 As it is truly said, dreams do come true. All you have to do is keep pushing yourself hard for it & one day you surely will get there.
