TEACHER’S DAY-2020

A single beam of light can remove even the deepest darkness. And this holds true to show the significance of a teacher in the life of every single person. A student is always considered to be the future of the nation and a teacher moulds the student into becoming future ready. 5th September is annually celebrated as Teacher’s day to commemorate the birthday of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. He was known for his service as both Vice-President and President of India but more precisely for being a great teacher.

Quoting the words of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, “Teachers should be the best minds in the country”. And IMI has always followed this thought from its core. A group of 17 faculty members work day and night to shape the students and make them future ready. They provide a foundation to the student to improve not only their professional but also personal lives and this is how IMI can achieve its motto of “Shaping Global Leaders for Tomorrow”. Teachers’ efforts can never be denied and undermined. Dedicating a day to these faculty members who have invested their time, effort and knowledge for years and years to enlighten the students is the least one can do to thank them. Thus 5th September is as important for students as it is for teachers. Students understand and appreciate the effort put in by the teachers to enrich their lives. India has witnessed a glorious past when great teachers or Gurus have developed great leaders in this land. It also cherishes the relationship between a student and a teacher as they can together lead the country towards prosperity. IMI has always followed this perspective and will continue to thrive with enthusiasm.
