Prof. Supriti Mishra is an expert in the area of CSR and Corporate Governance. She has trained many corporate executives from various Public and Private sector units in both these areas. Currently she works as an Associate Professor in the Bhubaneswar branch of International Management Institute (IMI), which is one of the top runners among B schools in India. She teaches in the areas of Strategy, Corporate Social Responsibility, and Corporate Governance in IMI Bhubaneswar. She recently served as a Visiting Professor at St. Ambrose University, Davenport, Iowa, USA where she delivered talks on CSR and Sustainability to students, alumni, and faculty members of the university and corporate executives from Davenport, USA. She has attended management courses in the Stern School of Business, New York University and IIT Kharagpur. She has a Post-doctorate from Stern School of Business in New York University, USA and holds a Ph.D. from I.I.T. Kharagpur, India in addition to her qualifications of MBA and M.A. in Applied Economics from Utkal University, India. She was a Fulbright Fellow in the year 2009-10 when she worked with Prof. Ingo Walter at the Stern Business School in New York University, USA in the area of Corporate Governance. She continued as a Visiting Scholar in the Stern Business School during 2010-12. Prof. Mishra’s research interest lies in the areas of corporate social responsibility, corporate governance, and sustainable development. She has extensively published in these areas in International Journals of Emerald and Springer Publications. She has written a book on ‘Corporate Social Responsibility of Indian Companies’ which has been published by Lambert Academic Publishing, Germany. She has also presented papers in a number of international conferences held in the USA and UK, and in conferences in India. She is a reviewer for reputed journals such as the Journal of Business Ethics (Springer), British Journal of Management (Wiley), European Journal of Development Research and the Global Business Review (Sage). Prof. Supriti Mishra has a mixed bag of experience of over 20 years in industry, academics and non-profit sector.

Prof. Supriti Mishra has over 20 years of experience in industry, academics and non-profit sector. In the initial stages of her career, she led an organization in the IT industry for about 10 years after which she has engaged herself in teaching, research, training and consulting. She has been a consultant to various national and international non-profit organizations including Unicef, UNDP, Adam Smith Institute, U.K., and W.F. Baird & Associates, Canada. She has been invited as a speaker in various national and international fora.
