The 8th Annual Convocation to award Diplomas to the successful PGDM students at International Management Institute, Bhubaneswar was held on 27th February 2021. Shri Anil Agarwal, Founder and Chairman of Vedanta Resources Limited was the Chief Guest of the event.

Mr. Agarwal shared his inspiring story of starting his career at 19, emphasizing the importance of an entrepreneurial mindset and the role of students in eradicating poverty and creating employment opportunities. He encouraged students to support the government's dream of creating a 5 trillion-dollar economy and privatization policies, stating that privatization leads to more job opportunities and better output. Agarwal also encouraged students to show interest in MSMEs and pledged to support IMI Bhubaneswar students, urging them to "do it, and the world will be yours."
