REPUBLIC DAY 2024

IMI Bhubaneswar has proudly celebrated the 75th Republic Day to mark the remembrance of the day our constitution came into action. The government of India celebrates this day in the National Capital, New Delhi where flag hoisting event, Indian Armed Forces parade, and other activities take place in front of the India Gate. Around 9:45 am we assembled in the flag hoisting area and the ceremony started by singing the national anthem together before the tri-color got hoisted by our director sir. This day is filled with essence of patriotism and we get a different feeling when we see the national flag flying high everywhere. Our ceremony continued with a special speech by our director Prof. Ramesh Behl sir and then a tree plantation program and what better way than this we can celebrate this auspicious day because it's not only planting a sapling but also planting hope for our near future. After the end of the ceremony, we had a special lunch planned by our mess committee. This festival brought us together irrespective of our religion, caste, creed and injected a sense of nationalism and togetherness as always, and reminded us of our identity as Indians before anything else
